This bag has a lot of pockets for all the gadgets. Quality and looks are great.. This would fit a laptop, lot of gadgets, couple of files and a book at the max..

I tested several bags before going back to this one. I’ve had the brown version of the Mountainsmith Market St for 2 years. I’d really liked its organization and professional look, but the zipper tabs broke fairly quickly. The black one is organized the same way, but so far (2 months) has proven to be well-made with high quality materials and all the right features.

The quality of the bag is excellent and the bag is spacious. Have enough pockets to carry all the accessories along with laptop.

I really wanted to love this backpack and have continued to use it. The form and size were perfect for my needs.
However, within 6 months of purchasing it, BOTH of the zipper pulls on the main compartment broke off. Very poor performance for a premium priced backpack.
I put some twist ties in as replacement pulls – but for >$70 I expect more than disposable hardware.

I use this bag daily, and am very satisfied with it. The quality is extremely high – well made, durable, and intelligently designed. It travels well, and stows easily in airplane overheads and under seats, because it is streamlined (it has no outside pockets to catch or hang up). Mountainsmith thought of many small details – for example, the pockets are lined with corduroy to ensure that your sunglasses, iPod screens, etc., don’t get scratched. The placement of internal pockets is well thought out, and the use of space is efficient. The only gap I noticed is that I switched to the Mountainsmth from a Lands End canvas briefcase, which was legendary for being able to hold more stuff than a normal human can lift. The Mountainsmith holds less, comparatively, but that’s not a bad thing. Be thoughtful about what you need to carry in your bag, and you will love the Mountainsmith!
